I also coach people by phone all over the United States. I have some special online trainings that I highly recommend as well. I also recommend Dan O’Conner’s online communication training. He is the best communication expert ever and funny too! Click here. Dan gives you a free 35 minute training.
Conflict in the workplace come in all sizes from slight misunderstandings or disagreements, lack of trust, mis-communications to big upsets. But conflict can also be costly to an organization. The trouble isn’t necessarily the fact that conflict exists. It’s how we deal with those conflicts or what happens when they aren’t resolved. The impact of conflict in the workplace can be devastating – to the parties involved, to colleagues and teams, to clients, and to the business as a whole. Some of the results of unresolved conflict in the workplace include:
- Stress, frustration, and anxiety
- Loss of sleep
- Strained relationships
- Loss of productivity
- Increased client complaints
- Employee turnover
- Absenteeism
- Sabotage
- Grievances and litigation
- Disability claims
- Sick leave
